Atlas Bookshop was born from a lifetime of enthusiastic reading and a desire to share the book love with the vibrant community of Silverton. 

Hello! I am Michelle Collazo, owner of Atlas Bookshop and Silverton resident. A 24-year nursing career might not seem a logical segue into bookshop owner, but if you dig a bit deeper, it could… a natural love of books and reading and talking about books and reading… a natural love for people and getting to know them, meeting them where they are at… a desire to create something in this delightful community where it’s easy to run into people you know when you’re out and about, it’s easy to brag about such a beautiful spot that is Silverton. 

Atlas Bookshop is a pop-up bookshop, hosted by Little Leaf Cafe in historic downtown Silverton. Every First Friday weekend, Friday and Saturday, you will find a broad selection of new books to browse and buy. You can expect a variety of fiction and nonfiction genres, including a hearty selection of children’s picture books, middle grade, and YA. Certainly, you’ll find a cozy spot to peruse our collection, talk with us about your favorite reads, get a recommendation… we can’t wait to meet you and find out more about what you love to read!
